The term “Pass Validation” refers to a submission that has successfully been loaded into the FDA’s system. When a submission file has errors that do not allow for it to upload into the FDA’s system, this means that it has “Failed Validation”.

Please note that passing or failing validation does not equal successfully or unsuccessfully listing your submission as the process of listing a submission file is not an approval process.
