Answer:
SPL Portal does not support symbols or footnotes in an image title. There are two workarounds.
- Do not use the image title function. Instead insert regular text right above or below the image. In the text, add your symbol or footnote. Note that because the image title function is not being used in this workaround the text will not center below the image when rendered in the SPL style sheet.
- Using the symbol manager in the SPL editor, temporarily insert the symbol into the text of a section. Cut the symbol from the text in the SPL editor. Open the “Image Properties” interface for the image and type in the text of the title or the descriptive text. Place the cursor in the correct location and then paste the symbol from the clipboard.
