ID Does Not Match Error

“id must not match any other id across all sections, documents, or any id other than the id of the same section previously submitted”

This error is generated from a newer FDA validation rule that checked to ensure section ids and effective times have been changed. To correct this error, we have created a button in the Content Editor that will reset all section GUIDs and correct this error for you.

This reset is to be used ONLY if you generate the above error message.

To correct the error, check out a draft of the submission file and select the “Section Actions” tab and then select the “Reset All Section GUIDs” tab. Then you just need to check in the draft and promote it to current, create a new submission, and send that submission into the FDA.

Please note that if you have other errors, please correct those first and then reset all GUIDs as your last step.
